Synarc establishes new Office in China

Synarc extends its global reach

San Francisco, CA. April 7, 2004 - Synarc, Inc., a leader in specialized medical imaging and molecular marker services for global clinical trials, announced the opening of a new office in Beijing China, as the company continues to extend its services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices clients around the world. Beijing represents the seventh office location for Synarc, along with its offices in San Francisco, Portland, Boston, Copenhagen, Hamburg and Lyon.

"Expanding our geographic reach is part of our growth strategy" states Dr. Peter Steiger, Chief Executive Officer of Synarc. "The new facility brings our scientific expertise and innovative services closer to our customers in the Pacific Rim.

The Synarc Beijing office is located at the Oriental Plaza at No.1 East Chang An Ave., in the Dong Cheng District. Among the guests invited to its grand opening were several Chinese dignitaries, including Mr. Xiucheng Yu, Vice Director of the Education Department of the Health Ministry of China; Mr. Shichen Zhang, former Chief of the Drug Registration Department of the China State Food and Drug Administration Bureau; and Mr. Jianwen Ma, President of the Chinese Osteoporosis Foundation and the Chinese Pharmaceutical Development Foundation. Several representatives from the local and global pharmaceutical industries also attended the celebration.
