SYNARC ADDS TECHNOLOGY VETERAN LUISA CONTREIRAS TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER ROLES  

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – September 21, 2007 – Synarc Inc., the world's leading provider of medical imaging analysis, biochemical marker, and subject recruitment services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, today announced the appointment of Luisa Contreiras to senior vice president and chief technology officer.

Prior to joining Synarc, Contreiras served as Vice President, Technology & Operations at Gentiae Clinical Research. Previously, as chief technology officer at Concuity, she developed web-based solutions to automate and streamline complex healthcare financial processes including data operations.

Contreiras holds a degree in Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has consulted and spoken extensively on the topic of technology in healthcare and healthcare on the Internet.
