SYNARC ADDS LIFE SCIENCES INDUSTRY VETERAN GREGORY RICHARD TO LEAD SALES AND MARKETING

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – November 01, 2006 – Synarc, Inc., a global leader of clinical trial services offering centralized imaging, study participant recruitment and biochemical marker services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, has hired Gregory Richard, former President of Accumin Diagnostics, Inc., as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  Richard will be responsible for leading Synarc’s global commercial sales and marketing strategy.

Prior to Accumin, Richard held the title of Vice President, Managed Care and Clinical Trials at Quest Diagnostics, Inc., where he was responsible for leading the team that helped manage pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies’ research and development projects.

“Greg has in depth experience in clinical trials and a track record of successfully launching innovative diagnostic and therapeutic products,” said Gary Velasquez, President and Chief Executive Officer of Synarc. “His role is pivotal in positioning Synarc as a true global player, serving the needs of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies worldwide.”

Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westminster College in Missouri and is a member of the College’s Board of Trustees. He serves on the School of Allied Health Advisory Board for the University of Connecticut and is a frequent lecturer at industry conferences. Richard is also a Six Sigma Green Belt and Professional in the Academy for Healthcare Management.
