Paola Pettersen, MD received her medical education at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1994. She received her medical specialization in Radiology at the Medical School of Post Graduation PUC and at the General Hospital Santa Casa de Misericórdia (sector of radiology), both in Rio de Janeiro 1999 being titular member of Brazilian Radiology College since 2003.
After working as responsible for the radiology post graduation course of PUC for 3 years Dr. Pettersen has been working as responsible radiologist at CCBR-Synarc in Denmark since 2004. She has also been working as radiologist at the mammography screeningcenter at the University Hospital in Odense, Denmark since 2006. At CCBR-Synarc Dr. Paola Pettersen has been participating in researches in the radiological field over the last 3 years. During this period she has been publishing articles related to osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and mammography. |
