Stepan Kutilek, MD, PhD is Medical Director and Principal Investigator at the CCBR-SYNARC site in Pardubice, Czech Republic. He is the Principal Investigator in most of the clinical trials performed at this site. He has a total of 24 years experience in clinical medicine, in particular in metabolic bone diseases and pediatrics and he has also participated in basic research concerning bone and mineral metabolism.

He has also extensive experience  concerning all aspects of  clinical trials. He has been working with CCBR since 2004. His previous positions were at the Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague and Pilsen, Czech Republic, as an Associate Professor,  at Ingenix International as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, at Zentiva Pharmaceuticals, Czech Republic, as Head of Clinical Department and at Loma Linda University, California, USA, as a postdoctoral fellow. He has authored an co-authored 100 publications, mostly in the field of bone and mineral metabolism.
