Lars Hedbys, Ph.D.
General Manager, Imaging Services

Lars Hedbys, Ph.D. is the General Manager of Imaging Services at Synarc, Inc. He is also the Vice President of Project Management at Synarc. Lars brings to Synarc experiences from managing global clinical trials organizations and general management in a global environment.

Dr. Lars Hedbys brings over 14 years of leadership skills and scientific expertise in Research and Development in the Pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Hedbys comes to Synarc from a distinguished career at AstraZeneca. Dr. Hedbys held a number of management and development positions at AstraZeneca including Vice President and Site General Manager for the Lund R&D site, where he was responsible for site coordination, external relations, and infrastructure management for over 1100 staff.

Lars Hedbys has 14 years experience from R&D within the pharmaceutical industry. Previous positions include Site General Manager for the AstraZeneca R&D site in Lund Sweden, and Vice President for Global Clinical Operations and Project Management in AstraZeneca. He also has experience of international change management and business process reengineering.

Lars holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering and a Ph D in applied biochemistry. Lars is also a board member of the Medicon Valley Academy.
