Anke Fierlinger, M.D.
Medical Director, Orthopedics Services


Dr. Anke Fierlinger, MD, is the Medical Director, Orthopedics Services for Synarc and a Board certified orthopedic surgeon from the University of Innsbruck, Austria.

In her position as Medical Director, Orthopedics at Synarc she is responsible for scientific project design, review and innovations to improve the validity and accuracy of the implementation of standard and advanced radiographic evaluation techniques in clinical trials.

Dr. Anke Fierlinger also serves as the key contact for the scientific and regulatory community. She participated in expert meetings, gave invited lectures and co-authored several scientific articles.

Dr. Fierlinger completed her orthopedic residency at the University in Innsbruck/Austria.
With almost 10 years of clinical experience in orthopedic surgery she has extensive expertise in spine surgery, joint replacements as well as trauma and tumor surgery.

Before joining Synac Dr. Fierlinger worked as a postdoc fellow at UC San Francisco. She was actively involved in the design and execution of the radiographic assessment for various clinical and research trials using multi modality imaging. During her fellowship she gained a strong experience in musculoskeletal radiology over almost 3 years.
