Dr. Julie Camille DiCarlo, Ph.D holds a patent in quantitative MR imaging that General Electric licenses. She recently co-published a book chapter on MR imaging of the knee. Dr. DiCarlo ensures the scientific quality of CCBR-SYNARC’s arthritis imaging and analyses. She leads CCBR-SYNARC’s R&D effort in developing and prototyping novel analysis support techniques, as well as utilizing new innovations in MRI pulse sequence technology, for RA and OA trials. She was one of the inventors of the Syn-X-RA positioning device for radiography of the hands and feet in RA.
