Financial Analyst
Synarc, the world's leading pharmaceutical service organization dedicated exclusively to global clinical trials is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for their corporate headquarters in downtown San Francisco, CA.
Position Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst will Analyze, interpret and source information to define financial objectives and results. The incumbent will provide information to management to make informed decisions and effective resource allocations which maximize service and shareholder return.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and develop annual/strategic operating, investment, and capital budgets and forecasts. Consolidate and publish global budgets and forecasts.
- Develop, monitor and analyze operating, investment, and capital activity monthly.
Coordinate and prepare monthly/quarterly goals management package including Profit & Loss and Working Capital Forecasts.
- Work with management and staff to achieve department objectives and implement or assist in developing performance/financial improvements.
- Ad Hoc Management and Presentation Reporting.
- Support software and reporting enhancement implementations.
- Policy and Procedure Development.
- Product and Operating segment financial analyses.
- Special Projects and Other Duties as Assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3 + years overall experience in financial planning or general accounting, preferably in Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industries
- Minimum 3 years experience in financial planning or equivalent project experience.
- Demonstrated experience with and broad knowledge of financial principles, practices and procedures as applied to complex assignments
- Undergraduate degree required, preferred areas are finance, accounting, or business administration, MBA a plus.
